Impeccable style with the flick of the wrist: we count down the luxury watch brands favoured by David Beckham
At Baselworld 2017 in March, watch heavyweights Breitling and Tudor made the surprise announcement that they had entered into a cooperative agreement in which they would share watch movements. The following month, the two brands were shown to have something further in common when David Beckham was unveiled as Tudor’s new brand ambassador. The footballer-turned-philanthropist and global style icon was previously affiliated with Breitling, fronting campaigns from 2012-2016.
Tudor, a sibling brand of Rolex, handpicked Beckham for the new Born to Dare campaign, which highlights the fearless pioneers and daring adventurers that define the prestigious Swiss brand, launched by Hans Wilsdorf in 1926. To celebrate this campaign, and Beckham’s impeccable style, we bring you our guide to David Beckham-approved watches to wear now.
Tudor Heritage Black Bay Chronograph Watch
Tudor’s elegant Black Bay Chronograph timepiece is worn by Beckham in the aforementioned Born to Dare campaign. This is is paired with vintage dive watch details for a handsome hybrid, recognisable by Black Bay’s signature snowflake hands.
Alongside the Black Bay Chronograph, the campaign features the former footballer wearing the Black Bay S&G, which reworks the iconic Heritage Black Bay divers' watch in exquisite steel and gold.

Today, it remains a bestselling Rolex icon, lauded for its precision, durability and sleek, polished aesthetic.
