Hit the lights: Alexa Chung unveils the Tiffany & Co. Christmas display on Old Bond Street, infused with American glamour
London is lighting up this month, as festive displays transform the capital in the countdown to Christmas. Leading the way last night was Tiffany & Co. on Old Bond Street, which unveiled a gleaming festive display with the help of model and designer Alexa Chung.
Chung, dressed in Tiffany diamonds, an Emilia Wickstead dress and Nicholas Kirkwood velvet pumps, turned on the light display while dapper butlers, wearing top hats and Tiffany uniforms, served hot chocolate, spiced eggnog and warming winter bites.
The resplendent new showcase is inspired by legendary window dresser, Gene Moore, who was responsible for Tiffany’s dramatic window displays on Fifth Avenue during the 1950s. Iconic packaging is illuminated by a twinkling backdrop of New York's skyline, swathed in signature aquamarine hues.
The flagship boutique is also adorned with elegant wreaths and glittering lights. Christmas trees continue inside, presented alongside the American jeweller's diamond fine jewellery and accessories. Sparkle with added sparkle? Yes please.
