Bella Hadid fronts the new Bulgari B.Zero1 fine jewellery campaign, which celebrates strong, larger-than-life women
Bella Hadid has landed her first major jewellery campaign, shot by Sølve Sundsbø. Alongside Lily Aldridge, the Bulgari brand ambassador models the new B.Zero1 Labyrinth collection of bold pendant necklaces and rings with a rock ’n’ roll edge, crafted from spiralling white and rose gold.
The renowned B.Zero1 collection launched in 1999 at the turn of the millennium and marked a new generation of Bulgari wearers. The compelling shape takes its cue from the ancient Roman Colosseum and is created using a modern interpretation of a casting process developed by Benvenuto Cellini in the Renaissance. Over the years, Bulgari has released fresh iterations of the curvilinear design, including a collaboration with Zaha Hadid in 2016. The new Labyrinth line twinkles with the spirit and history of Italy, whilst celebrating ‘larger-than-life women who invent their own rules, for lives that are joyful, grand and unprecedented.'
Hadid joined the Bulgari family in 2017 as the face of the Goldea the Roman Night fragrance. On the new jewellery collection, she commented: “It represents a woman who is strong, confident, responsible and smart.”
"I have worked with Sølve [Sundsbø] before but never on a campaign as big as this," added Hadid. "He is so calm and he is a really funny person on set, with great playlists." Watch the video below to delve behind the scenes of the new campaign.
