A beautifully tailored, tactile clash of colour and texture – Burberry launches an exclusive new capsule collection on Net-A-Porter
Burberry has launched an exclusive collection on Net-A-Porter, which takes its cue from the British heritage brand’s September 2017 collection. Like the runway show, the 14-piece edit references country pursuits, aristocratic elements and contemporary street style, reflective of Britain’s sartorial history and diverse style tribes.
The collection is rife with heritage check, whether creating an all-over impact on bomber jackets and stirrup leggings, or adding the finishing touch to a grey cashmere coat, trimmed with red tartan lapels. Elsewhere, wrap up in fluffy, faux fur jackets and patchwork crochet knits with a wistful, seventies vibe, accessorised by cosy Argyll socks and extra-long, stripey scarves.
Further key pieces include fluttering lace dresses and a theatrical, statement military jacket, embellished with lustrous braided regalia.
Burberry is no stranger to Net-A-Porter, having sold on the e-commerce platform since 2005, but this is the first time that the two heavyweights have collaborated on an exclusive collection. Here, we select seven of our favourite items to add to your winter wish-list. Be warned however – this exclusive Burberry collection is selling out quicker than you can say tartan trews.
