Flying out of Heathrow Airport has never tasted better
Heathrow VIP has teamed up with Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton to produce a new menu that features signature dishes from Atherton’s luxury London restaurants, including Berners Tavern and Pollen Street Social.
The new menu celebrates the best of British cuisine to give VIP flyers a memorable meal before jetting off. For those travelling throughout June, expect delectable canapés, a Berners Tavern summer starter and a roasted stone bass, caramelised cauliflower, fennel and cockle velouté main course. For dessert, those will a sweet tooth will love French meringue with fresh berry compote and strawberry sorbet.
Atherton said: “Having experienced the Heathrow VIP offering first hand, I’ve always been impressed with how the service transforms the way you travel and so I was delighted to help make the dining experience a true occasion for passengers. With the help of my team and the Heathrow VIP chefs, we’ve created a range of exciting dishes to suit even the most experienced palate; we hope this will enhance the premium experience when travelling through the VIP suite at Heathrow.”
Heathrow VIP is available exclusively to Business and First Class passengers. The services begins with a chauffeur-driven journey to a private entrance at the airport, where you’ll be greeted by a concierge who will escort you to your own private lounge. Enjoy a five-course gourmet meal while the VIP team will look after your luggage. VIPs also get to choose whether they board the plane first or last, and have the benefit of private security screening when it is time to depart for your flight.
