An exhibition by contemporary Italian artist Ottavio Fabbri that pays homage to Rolls-Royce Bespoke Starlight Headliner feature will open for one week only at Rolls-Royce Berkeley Square on Friday 14 April 2017.
Known as the ‘Star Maker’, painter, sculptor, director and conceptual artists Fabbri’s exhibition celebrates the craftsmanship that goes into the creation of the constellation of stars painstakingly weaved into the leather-lined ceiling - the Starlight Headliner.
Using between 800 and 1,600 delicate fibre optic strands, each constellation is unique to the owner and can take more than 17 hours to complete. The brightness of each ‘star’ can be adjusted to suit your mood.
Donations from each painting sold at the exhibition will made to the AMAR International Charitable Foundation, a British charity that delivers emergency support and sustainable programmes to millions of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the Middle East.
Claus Anderson, Brand Director of Rolls-Royce, said: “Rolls-Royce is synonymous with British culture and still the No.1 choice for the British entrepreneur.”
