Stewarts Law RCA Secret 2016 is an annual fundraising exhibition and sale of postcards at the Royal College of Art - but what’s the secret? You won’t know who the artist is until you’ve purchased the postcard. Around 2000 specially produced postcards will be on display, featuring a mixture of famous and up-and-coming artists. Confirmed creatives taking part include Peter Blake, Grayson Perry, Steve McQueen, Alison Wilding, Maggi Hambling and David Bailey. Fashion designers Zandra Rhodes and Marta Jacubowski and jewellers Theo Fennell, Emma Paolozzi have also designed postcards for the exhibition. Whether you want to snap up a work of art from a world-famous artist, or you’re hoping to discover the next Jeremy Deller, head to RCA Secret this April. All postcards cost £55 and all profits will go to the RCA Fund, which supports scholarships for emerging artists.
Buyers can purchase up to four postcards, but if that’s not enough be sure to check out the collection of RCA-produced, limited-edition prints that form part of Shakespeare Lives - a celebration of Shakespeare’s life to mark the 400th anniversary of his death. There are just 23 prints available, priced at £350 each.
