Dead Rare: A playful new fine jewellery proposition from Harvey Nichols
How do you present one of the rarest, most radiant, show-stopping stones in London? With an equally rare bird of course: the endangered Northen Bald Ibis.
Harvey Nichols has enrolled the unlikely, feathered model for its irreverent new fine jewellery campaign, pairing the endangered bird with an exquisite, one-of-a-kind tanzanite necklace by British fine jeweller, Ortaea. Coined Nature's Wonder Necklace, the mesmerising, 35.72 carat stone is encrusted in diamonds and delicately hung on an 11.93 carat diamond necklace.
Translating fine jewellery in today’s digital world is a complex task, which Harvey Nichols has eagerly embraced. The head-turning campaign highlights the striking exclusivity and rarity of its fine jewellery collections, with a welcome dash of signature wit.
Harvey Nichols launched its Fine Jewellery department in 2016, as part of a vast redevelopment of the ground floor at the Knightsbridge flagship store. The resplendent trove features a diverse roster of designers including Ara Vartanian, Marco Bicego and Annoushka, in addition to a host of one-of-a-kind, exclusive pieces.
