Ice Rink Canary Wharf is back – with London’s only skate path

Canada Square Park will once again transform into an enchanting winter wonderland with the return of Ice Rink Canary Wharf next month

Get your skates on, Ice Rink Canary Wharf is gearing up to return to London’s Canada Square Park next month for 16 magical weeks of winter ice skating.

From 4 November 2017 until 24 February 2018, Ice Rink Canary Wharf is one of London’s longest serving seasonal ice rinks.

This year sees the return of Ice Rink Canary Wharf’s popular skate path, an endearing trail that breaks off from the main rink, taking you on a journey beneath the enchanting canopy of twinkling trees in the park.

London’s largest covered seasonal ice rink sees optimum skating sessions whatever the weather and will be illuminated by the glow of over a thousand Edison light bulbs, making it the perfect place to enjoy one of the city’s most celebrated traditions.

Also new this year is a dedicated children’s rink for junior skaters aged four-six years old.

For those who prefer spectating to ice skating, the rink-side bar, The Grandstand Secret Garden, will have the best views of those skating on the rink.

Located in the heart of Canary Wharf, the ice rink is surrounded by over 300 restaurants, bars, and stores across five shopping malls – a one-stop-shop for an unmissable winter day out.
