‘Park & Fly’ to Royal Ascot

This year’s Royal Ascot racing celebrations, taking place from 14-18 June, look set to be the most luxurious yet, thanks to a new partnership between the racecourse and private jet and helicopter specialist Fresh Air.

Royal Ascot is a centrepiece of the British summer social calendar, with even the Royal Family spending time enjoying some of the best international horseracing in the world.

But, of course, the event isn’t just open to the Windsors – the general public will descent on Ascot Racecourse in their thousands to enjoy the celebrations. Inevitably, this will mean crowding on the local roads and public transport to and from London.

Thankfully, Fresh Air has the solution. Throughout the festival, it has launched an upscale ‘Park & Fly’ service which will enable easy access to all 26 racedays and non-raceday events by allowing racegoers to purchase seats on one of its luxury helicopters. It’s not only the ideal way to beat the crowds, but also a fantastic opportunity to see this beautiful part of the English countryside from the air.

Fresh Air ‘Park & Fly’ for Royal Ascot operates from Fairoaks Airport (close to the M3) and Waltham Airfield (near the M4). Prices from £395 per person (return), www.freshair-uk.com
