The Royal Drawing School: Luck of the Draw

Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, The Royal Drawing School, which was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales and artist Catherine Goodman, now operates studios in Shoreditch, Oxford Street, South Kensington and Trinity Buoy Wharf.

Teachers include local artists David Dawson and Sophie de Stempel. Every year the school presents the best post-graduate student drawings at its end-of-year show.

Artists featured this year include Josephine Birch, Lottie Stoddart, Christabel Forbes and two former British Army soldiers, ex-parachutist Douglas Farthing and Harry Parker, who served in Afghanistan.
